in case some of you might not know, I’m half Nigerian. My dad was born in Lagos, Nigeria :3 I wish I knew more about the culture. So what I’ve been doing [while I’ve been not posting arts] is learning about it through art :D
I got really interested in their patterns and searched high and low for the patterns and symbols of the Yoruba tribe (the one my dad is from). I’m still workin on it. But they’re really fun to make. I’ll post some detail shots later when I get back from my last day of work (thank goodness♥)
